Accommodation - best and most economic ways to live in London
It is quite difficult to find an accommodation in UK without references and proof of employment experience in UK. Therefore, we offer you a temporary accommodation for the start. We will book it for you for 2 weeks and if you like it you will be able to extend it easily with us.
As soon as you are settled in London it will be much easier to find a place to stay within your budget, in the preferred location, and with the right people once you are in the UK. For example, you can rent a house to share with your friends.
Terra Londres recommends that international students book into short-term accommodation for at least a few weeks to settle down and use this time to find long-term accommodation.
Here we have the range of prices for the Summer 2012: (prices include utility bills, internet, towels and bedding)
Zone 5: 120-130£ per week

Before you book anything, please bear in mind two important things:
- London is a very large city and it can be expensive to live near the centre. We’ve classified all our accommodation by Accommodation Zones to help you see exactly how long it will take to get to your school.
- Please book your accommodation as early as possible, as it can disappear very quickly.

To help you decide where you should live in London, we’ve classified all our accommodation according to which London Travelcard Zone it is situated in. You can then work out how long it will take you to get into Zone 1 where most schools and attractions are located.
Travel time to school by tube
Zone 1: 15 - 35 minutes to school
Zone 2: 25 - 45 minutes to school
Zone 3: 35 - 55 minutes to school
Zone 4: 45 - 65 minutes to school
We’ve calculated these times travelling by tube or train. If you take the bus it may take slightly longer, but you’ll see more of London!
